Abstract
Intra-abdominal infection due to perforation of upper gastrointestinal tract is sometimes a challenge to manage, especially a high output fistula or a perforation site that is difficult to approach. The authors present a case of anterior rectus sheath turnover method for abdominal wall repair in a patient with uncontrolled intra-abdominal infection and severe bowel ad-hesion to abdominal wall associated with prolonged application of negative pressure wound therapy.
